Units especially in the thirteen star area become much more flexible as there is no set bonus but they each specialize in specific stats.
#Pso2 limited quest episode 1 upgrade
At the moment where we are in global, Atlas EX will be "weaker" than Millionaire/Croesus weapons but once we get access to Divide Quests you will be able to upgrade them to their "Plus/Redux" potential which will put them within the top-five weapons for the current Episode 6 end-game from the Japanese side of things. You can also potentially try out combos that reduce photon point usage or mix-and-match specific S4 and S5 abilities on weapons that have those slots to expand your capabilities. For the most part this depends on your class on what would suit you the most as classes like the Fighter already have a relatively high critical chance so you could potentially aim for critical damage or simply an increase in damage (which is done in percentages which surpass the flat numbers in general). If your weapon has one more ability than it can hold you must pick an ability to drop and if your donor weapon does not have a slot filled in it becomes downslotted. You get to pick the abilities you want (the SSA's available and then the remaining affixes to keep) on both weapons and then finish the transfer. Transferring them is as simple as going to the "Transfer S-Class Special Abilities" option when talking to Dudu or Monica and you pick your target weapon and a donor weapon. S-Class Special Abilities (SSA's) or known as S-Grade Augments in global are very easy to use.

To address some of your points you have mentioned: How important will those be? How much more do we have to catch up to be on par with the JP version of episode 6? What's the current level cap in the JP version? I assume we're getting closer to slower updates and gear will become outmoded less quickly? Is there anything else I'm missing that I should focus towards? I've spent very little time at max level cap grinding class ex-cubes (generally switching to my off class when I hit cap).
Apart from those, should I be desynthing other items or trying to level crafting any more?

Crafting- Is there any purpose to focus on this anymore? Should I still be desynthing lv11 and up discs? I read something about desynthing the new collection folder items for mats towards new weapons. Can anyone give context as to what I'll be using them for? At this point, I've started to exchange most unused rares for ex-cubes (with some being sold on personal shop for meseta.) What's the best use of unused rare units? Trading for photon spheres, selling to shop or desynthing? I've heard that ex-cubes are pretty important in episode 6.I'm assuming next I should look towards upgrading the Ophistia units to 13 via Zig? Are there any guides out there on the best way to farm whatever is needed for those units? Will those be fine enough for my class or would I be better off pursuing another set of 13 star units? I'm really looking for the easiest/ most casual route to fairly good end game units here. I've been using 12 star Circuray units since the summer and its time for an upgrade. I'm working on getting the Ophistia 12 star Units through the limited time quest.
#Pso2 limited quest episode 1 how to
Are there any good guides out there on this? Any resources that indicate the best s-grade augments for Fighter / Hunter and how to get them? I assume I'll be set for a little while with these two weapons until later on in Episode 6? I think the next step is to start searching for S-grade augments and apply them (which I'm hesitant to mess with). I have an Atlax EX weapon for both classes (Dagger and Sword). I wanted to ask a few questions so that I can be more efficient with my time and goals: Hi there! Just looking to bring some focus to what I'm doing in PSO2.
